    Where to stay in France

There is a wealth of places to stay in France, from camping through to some of the finest luxury hotels. Some of the best ways to experience the real France is to stay in a 2-star hotel in a small French town - the decor and plumbing may be idiosyncratic, but the welcome is likely to be genuine, the food local and hearty. Or be braver still and stay in a French Bed & Breakfast called a Chambre d'Hote - and stay with a French (or sometime British) family. Cottages, Villas, Apartments and Gites (properties to rent) are available througout France often at very reasonable prices away from the popular coastal resorts
